Treasured moments caught in silver and tin
True Grit Photography brings the raw beauty of the past into the present with our handcrafted tintype portraits.
What is tin-type photography?
Tintype photography is an early 19th-century process that captures images on metal plates, creating one-of-a-kind photographs with a timeless, hauntingly beautiful quality. Each plate is unique, with its own textures and tones— no two images will ever be alike.

A typical portrait session in our home studio takes about 1 - 1.5 hours. You will leave with a unique physical tin-type photo, and a digital scan that you a free to share and print as well. For more details, please email us any questions. We're happy to answer!
